You know those afternoons where you have a heated conversation with the best friend/alleged husband of the soul of a goddess that an eccentric cult is proof positive is residing in your body?
Or is that just Sarah?
Either way, Ms. Whittaker had quite enough of that that conversation the second that Thor started talked about the Avengers. The Avengers meant the government was involved -- and Sarah couldn't imagine any shadowy, world saving organization that would want her remain intact when they could have a Goddess instead.
No thank you. So, she ran. Surprisingly fast, and rounded the corner into an alleyway...
That, predictably, was full of agents in masks and skin tight black leather catsuits.
